Share the stories, it’s amazing what can happen

After what happened last night when we were picking up a Christmas tree, I got in story mode again. So I asked a coworker if she wanted to hear a cool story, a story like your probably not used to hearing, and I got the green light. I haven’t had anyone yet turn down the opportunity to hear a cool story.

She was very encouraged and it led to deeper conversation on the topic. Another coworker Anne (my advocate for Jesus in the office) came over and I asked her to share her stories of experiencing the supernaural touch of God. During the conversation with Anne it came up that our coworker recently had a tooth pulled and was still in a lot of pain. Anne mind you had already been prayed for, or was a part of praying for someone else 3 different times already, and her faith has skyrocketed. She didn’t waste a moment and said, “Let’s go, it’ll take two minutes, let him pray for you”, so we both said “Ok”. That was awesome. She later said “There is no time like the present” (Acts 28:31). I personally wasn’t going to push it, but she made it happen. Anne just taught me a good lesson.

So I prayed for healing and for the pain to go away two times, and all the throbbing pain left. She told me that she actually felt something like a hand or like something was pressing against her mouth when we prayed. God is supernatural and we can’t always explain what’s happening, but it’s God, and when He’s doing something it’s nothing short of amazing.

Update:
So I followed up now 3 days later and she has not had to take any pain medication since she was prayed for. She had been taking them very regularly due to the amount of pain. The doctors were even surprised at how well she was healing at the follow-up appointment. Praise Jesus!

Ephesians 6:23-24
Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.

He wants us ALL to draw near to Him, there nothing more important.

John
