4 Day Recap (Foot, Hip, Knee)

Last Friday I had an opportunity open up to pray for a coworker. My prayer coordinator in the office Anne had the initial conversation and set it up. The woman had surgery on her foot some time over the past few months and just got the boot off. However, she wasn’t happy with the level of recovery. Anne and I prayed a few different times and she experienced a 60% improvement.  Holy Spirits presence was amazing and was tangibly manifested through heat and increased emotion. Praise Him, wow, praise Him.

On Saturday my 5 year old Trace had a soccer game and I ran into a buddy I haven’t seen in a while.

He had been dealing with a really annoying groin/hip injury, the ball that goes into the socket of the hip wasn’t perfectly round. I had an opportunity to pray for him on the side of the soccer field and he experienced a 45% improvement in pain and range of motion. Praise Jesus for allowing that to be possible.

Sunday was a different type of situation. This time I was at church and one of the youth leaders asked me to pray for a friend of hers. There were three women at the table; the one I prayed for didn’t experience any relief; but I found out later that the other two women had aches or pains that subsided during the time we were praying and asked the Holy Spirt to come.  This one broke out of the norm and just makes me smile at how amazing Holy Spirit is. He has a perfect plan for all His kids and wants to confirm that. We just need to seek Him, be willing to act, do what we feel led to do, and trust Him. He keeps me in awe.

On Monday I met with a local business owner who is an awesome person with a heart for Jesus. What I found out in our conversation was that she recently had a knee surgery and the recovery was taking longer than she wanted.  She allowed me to pray for healing and God responded; all pain and discomfort left and she was able to move in ways she’s wasn’t prior.

II Corinthians 6:18
“I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.”

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

As you can see from those stories God responds in different ways and at different levels. He knows His kids, but wants them to know Him, deepen their understanding of Him or just take the opportunity to shower down His love.

I encourage you to take the next step closer to Him.
